Day 1 is way too long! It might be 450 on paper, but it won't take you less than 15-16 hours. Pushing it way to much without enjoying the Pabbar valley. I would suggest that you do the following, if exploring Manali is what you are looking at:

          Day 1: Dehradun - mussoorie - chakrata - tiuni - hatkoti - rohru
          Day 2: Rohru - Sungri - Narkanda - Sainj - Jalori Pass - Shoja - Aut - Manali
          Day 3: Manli and around
Day 4: Manali - Jalori Pass - Shoja - Jalori Pass - Khanag (If you don't find accomodation in the PWD rest house here, you can continue to Ani on the Khanag - Sainj road)
          Day 5: Khanag/Ani - Chakrata - Yamuna pul - Mussourie - Dehradun.

doing 450 kms totally on mountains in one day will surely be killing. i will tell my friends about this plan . can you elaborate route from rorhu to jalori pass.how will we go from sainj to jalori pass . shoudnt we go from rohru - luhri - kofridhar - jalori pass - aut. that way we dont need to go to narkanda.
and we can also stay at narkanda and visit hatu peak . what do you think which one will be better. rohru or narkanda.
where should we stay in rohru, manali, narkanda. we are looking for cheap accomodation(for students).how much it will cost.

              1) Sainj - Jalori pass is 51 kms and the road is fairly good. The route is Sainj - Luhri - Ani - Khanag - Jalori pass

              2) The above is the only route to get to Jalori from Rohru. If there is a route from Kofridhar (it essentially a trek route, from Sarahan ( of the Rampur side)), I am unaware of it. But as per me there is no route. To get to Jalori from the NH 22 you have to come to Sainj, trust me.

              3) You can either do Rohru - Sungri - Baggi - Narkanda - Sainj or Rohru - Sungri - Rampur - Sainj. Distace wise it is the same (32 kms).

              4) I would say go via Narkanda ( the road is bad though, but you have not seen Narkanda)

              5) Accomo would be 300 (+-) in all the places you have mentioned. But you would have to search and bargain.

I totally trust u .sir thanks for information. I will go through narkanda.
where should we stay during night rohru or narkanda.
we are planing to start as early as 4 am .so we will have enough time for sight seeing there. can we go to hatu peak at this time of year.

You can try going to Hatu. It should not be out of bounds. At Rohru, you can stay at the PWD rest house and weigh your options in Narkanda. You would be able to get a budget hotel there as well.
