  • [Photo Feature]: First Road Trip with my Wife...

It's been almost more than 2 years, I have been loggin onto xbhp everyday... Always learned something new related to road trips and at times also planned to do earlier but due to some or the other reason's I had to cancel it.

30 hours left for me to start my trip for Udaipur from Ahmedabad, which I have planned to go along with my wife. Booking was done on the 1st week on Nov'10 for 31st Dec'10, 1st & 2nd Jan'11 and will be back in Ahmedabad on 3rd Jan'11.

Before knowing what xBHP is ? I was not actually into bike riding, I proudly say today to my family members and friends that the birth of rider in me is due to xBHP. I use to travel within city alot for about 30 to 35 kms everyday but not even a single day I had travelled my without Helmet, because I believe in safety. Even I ride cycle at my office wearing necessary gears which gives me good cycling exercise of 5 kilometers.

My mom still insists not to go by bike as she is afraid. The main reason was because my dad expired in accident, he was hit by truck from back while he was riding bullet on Dungarpur Road Rajasthan.

Its 2:31 AM IST m at office will reach home from office at 5:45 AM IST, wake up at 12pm and start packing stuff in my new purchased Cramster saddlebag.

Logging off now, but will be back with pics for the entire journey.

Good luck and wish you both a safe journey.
Its a totally different experience when you can share live the travel experience with your better-half. But do always remember the bike handles differently (including longer braking distance) when you are riding with a pillion.

        Ride safe & enjoy.

All the best man. Hope your wife also wears helmet/knee guards and other basic safety accessories. Having a lady on ride means you have to plan your breaks strategically. Ahmedabad - Udaipur should be in very good condition, so no problem with that.

            Awaiting the pics n triplog.

All the very best to & to your wife. It's really fantastic to know that your wife has not only supported you for this trip but she is even willing to be a pillion rider on this trip. I am very much sure that both of you will enjoy this trip & remember for years to come. Fear of your mom is but natural & death due to accident of a near one always plays on her mind. But assure her that nothing untoward will happen to you or to your wife as I am very much sure that both of you will be wearing ample riding gears & helmet. Ride safe & waiting for the log. AMEN

                    Touched by your Support

Safety is always comes first in mind before starting my bike.

Last purchase was pending and it was Cramster Dyna Jacket for my sweety and Cramster Tank Bag which I got it from Kaveri Motors on SG Highway.

Thanks to all the Xbhpian members for your support. Getting ready to go office now.

Its really nice to know that your wife is supporting you for the trips and all and having your better-half as a riding partner for long rides and trips are something to be more than happy (As far as I can think. Note: I am still a student and that too single)

Good to know that, buddy. Wish you a very pleasant, joyful and safe journey. And, may you be successful for gaining your mother's confidence too.
