        how I wish we could switch one of the race-tracks down-south for place like Lansdowne..
        Hammer the racetrack. Pace yourself on the street.

          If that has 'Happened', then i salute to you and your riding skills. Would like to take some riding advice from you, as the max. mileage i have extracted and am extracting now from my 180 is 51kmpl. You are a nice guy atleast it seems till now, maybe we can meet sometime in near future. Sorry for OT getting back to topic; Just one more question:
          What's the best time to visit the place, I mean to say that if there is any type of natural hindarance that occurs in any span of year.
          I am listing out some locations from NORHTERN REGION of India and then will visit them collectively. Please do mention some other lovely places(if you find any worth a visit).

                  @Abhi: Lansdowne can be visited literally anytime of the year. That is the special part in visiting Lansdowne. As for meeting, come down to Delhi sometime, and I'll show you first-hand how to extract some superb efficiency from a motorcycle!

                  @all: Thank you guys.

                    Seems like a nice place to visit over a 2 day weekend. Nice pics and write up Aryan sir.

                    1 question, how long is the stretch of twisties in this route?
                    A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

                      @Parth: Twisties start from the base (at Kotdwara) all the way upto Lansdowne, which is roughly 40kms. or thereabouts (1.5 hours riding time).
                      :)
