Hello all riders!

I'm planning on a road trip to gujarat this weekend, its a place called kosamba, i guess an hours drive from surat. this will be my first ever road trip & am very excited & looking forward to it. I would like your advices and suggestions about the directions, place to halt ( i believe i would require some rest because i cant drive 6hrs at a stretch..i do almost about 1 n 1/2hrs continuous drive to office daily, although its not tiring, but 6hrs is a big thing for a rookie like me. i'm currently referring for directions from google maps. Most of my journey would be on NH8, i wanted to ask if there are any restrictions on bikers on the route that i'll b taking. Also any essentials, accessories other than helmet, jacket, gloves, water that one should carry on a trip.. All your inputs are appreciated.
