    Trek to Mahuli Garh

This Trip has become one of my most special trips. I seriously feel that the only thing which made this trip possible is that we must have been Destined to go. Simply because it was totally unplanned, was almost cancelled due to lack of petrol, lack of food and water facilities all throughout till the end, driving all night then, not slept at all. But then, Standing on top of the mountain in the clouds and surrounded by clouds...is just unexplainable in words!!
(The mountain trekking journey has taught us a lesson too but more on it later on).

    Riders:
    Me (FZ)
Mitesh (Pillion with me on his own FZ)
    Shailesh (Unicorn)
    Praveen (Pillion with Shailesh)

    Place:
    Mahuli Garh & Manas Mandir
    (Mumbai - Asangaon - Mumbai)

Will post the trip log soon. But till then, enjoy a few teaser pics..

          The journey!!

Shailesh asked something which made us realize 1 very important thing: "while thinking of the big big things how easily we ignore Small, but very critical things"

Then we started zeroing in on the destination. Lots of options --though some were outright unacceptable. Like overnight stay at one of our friends place. Finally Shailesh and Pravin suggested we go to a temple near Asangaon and Fort at a mountain nearby to the temple. Atleast destination was final. Unfortunately Percy had to leave back to Mumbai so we bid him adieu and proceeded on our trip.
Rode till Asangaon and took the first halt at Asangaon railway station at around 2 am.

Me doing count down for the trekking.

          How contradictory our actions are?
          Mitesh, Pravin & Me (L-R)

Then left for the Jain temple - Manas Mandir. We did darshan at around 5:30 am and left for the mountain trekking.

          The temple.

Well just for starters, we were helped by proper markings on the rocks in the way so we never lost the way. We became best friends with mosquitoes who never left us till the top. But then, the mountain was always playing with us. Everytime we reached a place and felt that chalo now the peak is just a few steps above, we found after reaching there, that there was much more height to be covered. I would add one thing here that till the last such point before the top we saw only average views, if not good, that too from only two or three such deemed peaks. So it was like we never actually knew how it was at the peak.

          Our steeds:

          While on the way up..

          Pravin enjoying the flow..

Shailesh and Mitesh (bade miya-chhote miya!)

          Deemed peaks

          Beauty of Nature!!

But to our surprise, just 10 minutes from splitting up we reached the actual peak. It felt simply like Heaven. Well, i think describing that moment is totally beyond my intellectual capacity. I'll rather let the pics describe them for me.

          Indescribable moment!

I kept telling Mitesh to keep going back...to get a good view..
(secret: actually his bike's keys were with me)

It was a perfect moment. I was actually thinking of never going back home but then after some time i came back to my senses!!!

We felt so refreshed and recharged like we were never ever tired.

Here's a practical lesson: "Never ever Quit if you want something, especially at times when your destination is not in sight" because you never know you might be as close to the destination as your hand would extend.

Well thanks to the guys for being a part of this trip and making it such a memorable one.

PS: Please excuse for such a long post and any mistakes in the post since this is my first post.
