      You will be screwed if you attempt Patna-Darjeeling in one day.

      Take a stop at Siliguri on the 1st day and proceed then.

      The situation isn't very pleasant at Darjeeling, Dooars and adjoining areas as the demand for a separate state takes ugly turns sometimes.

      Wish for Pujari riders and Tripathy jee to chip in.

      I am on standby mode. Confirm the dates and I may jump in.

      Disclaimer :- Despite being from this end, I am n00b as far as hills go. I am okay on the plains. (not riding, but geographical location)

        Thats a nice 'Epic' plan as always SpyD! Have a good time!

        IMO, avoid the stay at gangtok, its like dombivili on hills!

        rather head to the west of sikkim and come back... Changu, Pelling

        And since you are a localite there, and also a professional river rafter dont forget

        @Sheel:
        - Poojary riders are out of any long tours for the lack of leaves in 2011
        Scared of hill? Take this for a ride

        PS: Please NO jokes on how lanky I used to be :P

            I mean I agree it is beautiful, but its chok a bloc! Given an option, I would rather explore the western sikkim! Its worth the effort.

                  I doubt I'll make it to this one. March-April is way too close for comfort ie funds situation = bleak and holiday situation = bleaker (ongoing projects). Anyhow, let me know when the last day for confirmation is - assuming tickets etc will need to be booked early - and I will inform you guys what the scene is!

                        When did anyone say its easy??!! And yeah its a little difficult now cause there's a major tech upgrade process happening within my setup which means I have to get hardware/software upgrades done and train my resources with the new software. It's a LOT of work and EXPENSIVE - but obviously worthwhile in the long run and necessary in my business to stay relevant! I'm CEO + CFO + CTO all rolled into one and it aint easy!

                              The name needs to be (m)e(h)pic too. Packaging is just as important as the product. I thought you knew a bit about marketing!
