  • MeXican Standoff 2008

    Hello All,

As most of you may know, Bikernet.com Magazine publishes most of my Fiction and Articles.

I am on the forum there and EMan did a daring Bike Ride into Mexico.

Travelling alone on a Motorcycle, even in USA is dangerous. Worse in Mexico.

I thought I will share this Trip Log here for PURE ENTERTAINMENT !!!

Anyways, here is the story with Awesome Adventure.....

You really didn't have to pick that picture from the article and post it here to encourage people to read the article!

Those that took the chance and read it, know good it was, those that didn't, will miss something forever..
Nice article, brutally honest when the author backs out of the trip, the drama is there... cool! A good read

Very nicely written dude Even i was bit worried about you as i was reading through it...can you imagine how your words gripped my mind Thanks for such a lovely writeup. It made me realise that bike trips can be full of horror too if we unknowingly go into the wrong places.

ok, I'm one of the disappointed ones. Without much hassle, our man just bailed aise hi.

He needs to come to India, and ride in interior madhya pradesh

Fun log yes, but adventure - naah. ADVRider has enough stories. including the famed angola triplog. This is a out of comfort zone roadtrip. I mean, for someone who rode 2500 miles a side (4000km) - it was anticlimactic seeing him crap out like that!!

But yes, very engaging log - nicely written. any other triplogs of this gent u can share?

That was one hell of a Ride. Specially it would have beat his ass out when he passed those gun men firing and riding @ 100 mph!!

Nice log though - wish he could have finished the trip successfully..

I have read about people having adventures whilst riding across countries, but this is unlike any other sceanario, because in all the other cases the rider/riders don't know that they would get into trouble, and naturally it's their ignorance that gets them stuck in a sticky situation, but this guys has got the balls to go to a place even when he was suggested not to, and it's lucky he was able to use his presence of mind to say "enough is enough", many may say he quitted only a few kays from his destination, but my argument is that the guy was able to come as far as he did without getting his ass shot because he easily could've been, even if he had finished the trip, it would'nt have been over 'cause he would have to go back again. But all in all great write-up
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.
