Wrapped up a 4500km bike trip to north yesterday, started at tue 1st march & got back at 10th March Wed. Route Pune - Ahmedabad - Udaipur - Ajmer - Jaipur - Amritsar - Dharamsala - Delhi - Agra - Gwalior - Indore - Pune.
I'm not much of a word-smith n photographer, so took very less photos, only those which my 10mp point n shoot 3x would allow. Mostly stayed at roadside dhabas, eat the local fare. Met lot of interesting people, weathered cold upto 7deg. in dharamsala, extreme fog n cold coupled wid pothole infested roads in Harayana, loosing of track in Punjabi villages, tested my durability both mentally and physically too!
Indeed a life knowing experience..got to learn & value many things like discipline, traffic rules, cuisine, compromise, struggle for homeland (Tibet)- which i could easily relate to! It was all together different world out there it seemed..more beautiful n real than i have ever thought! I have so much to tell n share but dire lack of time and more importantly vocabulary constraints me!
As I write in in comfort of my office, the distant vocals of life on road still rings in my ears..I'm allready longing to go on another expedition! May be then I would be enough prepared and could give a full write-up of my journey..Xbhp style!
