      cheers on ur trip..
u need not do any modifications on ur bike. its fine if its in the stock condition. u might need to check ur plugs, air filter, chains and engine oil before leaving. if its time for oil changing, try the 20w50 oil.. its good for engines which is gonna do a long run.
carry medicines like paracetamol, then stomach aches and gas issues. also carry a small bottle of volini which will relieve u from any muscle pains. check ur tyres as well..
guess thats it.. this shud all be fine for u to go ahead.

Are you going alone or with a group???

Make sure you carry water and have it regularly during your breaks.
Take ocassional breaks at 50-75 kms as needed. Make sure not to heat up the bike too much. Maintain an average speed of 75-80 kmph.

Just get your bike properly serviced. Check tyre pressure. Take all your bike papers. Make sure you wear a thick jacket, hand gloves, jeans and sturdy shoes and you are set to go maan.

All the best. Also carry enough of cash in preparation for any kind of untoward incident.
Ride Hard !!! Ride Safe!!! Enjoy every moment on your machine !!! Cheers....

A good quality brand mineral oil like Shell would do as I have not had any problems with it till date.

Some are for and some are against synthetic oil. Its up to you. You know your bike best.
