Wow man, wonder how I missed this thread! Especially the way you have described the route, it is very helpful. How did you mark the red and green routes in google map?
I should follow the same thing here on. It's a good suggestion that people should include maps of the ride on their tour. So you visited a few Ganpatis and returned back to Pune each day. I may do this tour on your suggested routes, on weekends stretched over the month. Great guide

its very easy to mark the route on gmap....only thing is you need to save it as your own map and you must have a very fast internet to zoom in and out many times....otherwise pointers will not be placed accurately.
actually i faced little difficulty in deciding the route....so i thought, its better to make a map share it, so that other don't face the same problem.
actually i tried to embed the map but its not possible so started another thread to discuss how maps can be embedded....
unfortunately gmap can't be embedded in xbhp...untill moderators take some dicision.....till then we can only share the links....
ya you can do the trip...one phase in one weekend.....you can save on the leaves then

Gr8 trip there... keep such travelogues coming.Originally posted by bisprad View PostReally nice writeup
Me not the darshan kind - but as someone said, the fun is in the journey and not the destination
And it is especially enjoyable if it is so nicely cataloged as yours is
thanks for the appreciation guys.....
