Got an opportunity to go to DD Hills last week(Sachins Birthday).
Nishanth mailed me a old travelogue i saw the pics n decided this is the place.
first the route need to reach the Tumkur Road(we went via Mekhri circle ,Yeshwantpur) and just keep going straight, Njoy the road,You will
find a Toll post. Keep going for another 30 kms and a flyover will come Dobbaspet then ask someone for Devrayanadurga Hills.Once you take
right, its another 20 kms its a straight road except for few turns where the localites will help you out.

As usual first XBHP ride so couldn't sleep out of excitement night before.
Got up at 5,reached the meeting point(mekhricircle ,where Nishant was waiting)
Started from there,Nishants ask me my comfortable speed!!!!i wondered what is that!!!!i told 60.
after driving on the neelmangla flyover realised its 80..the speed at which i can njoy the bike and the scenic beauty around.
Had a tea after the toll gate & decided that will eat at first decent place on the way.
around 7 am reached kamat and had a heavy breakfast.

saw this lovelee view on tha way.

Near the forest saw a big snake(around 6 ft n really thick). It was too fast n was not interested to pose.
Continued our ride and reached nilaya nimude(i dont know the proper name ,Nishant would add to it.)

Saw these deers n monkey their

Stayed there for some time,a quick colddrink break and we are on our way to the DD hills.
Drove for another 30 mins and we reached the DD hills.

Climbed the steps..reached ..had the darshan then climbed through this way to the top and had a great view from thier:

a great view from the top.

Then decided to go to the lake for a photoshoot.Another 20-25kms from there.
    took a few snaps.

    Thats the RTR Tees

Finally on our way back to bangalore.Took just 1 break on the way back cruised 80-90 & we reached IISc around 2-2:30.
It was 8 hrs of pure fun, great riding and good experince.
Thanks Nishant for your great company

The 1st pic is neither a lake nor a well ! Its a 1 foot (diameter) spring through huge boulders, from which water flows out gradually, all through-out the year !

History says Lord Ram searched for water to apply nama/tilak on his forehead. When he couldn't find any water, he shot an arrow aiming at the rock. The arrow penetrated the rock, made a hole, and the water came out through it !

Nope...we did not. We were too lazy to climb up and also were late and hence kept it pending for the next ride
