You could have visited chamundi at night. If you thought the view was great during the day, the illuminated mysore city would have been an awesome sight at night. Hope you got your darshan.

I bet you noted that the zoo could have been better maintained. The croc pen and aviary in particular are a sad sight. Were the leopard cages fixed? Sad that the government doesnt fund it much.
As i had limited time had to do KRS fountain. Anyway, we had to miss one place for the night. I doubt govt funding the zoo. I saw couple of boards in the zoo stating that the zoo isnt funded by the govt. Funding is done through Adoption from people interested.

I struggled to walk 3kms inside the zoo. Was desperately speeding to get out of zoo. We left the lodge at 8.30am..lol Plan was to cover chamundi, zoo and palace by 1pm straightly heading to bangalore. Obviously we couldn't so finally left at 4.30pm.

Regarding the Darshan, no we didnt get opportunity to have it. The queue was too long enough for us to skip the darshan.

Some lovely pics there buddy. Its always a great idea to leave Bangalore as early as possible, then you're out of the city and on the highway in a jiffy and you can really enjoy the rest of the ride, but I guess you had your reasons for leaving late (?).

Wish you many more enjoyable rides,

I havent noticed it lately. Ive not taken it out of town for a while and I dont get to high speeds much in my city commutes. Im sure it was suggested before to clean your fuel tank's air vent, clean the fuel pipe\fuel cock and maybe the carb. Go from the simplest solution to the complex by elimination. If it persists, ask again in the ownership forum.

@tibby: The close up of the bikes against the palace makes a very nice picture. Thats almost an X.
