In no time we were enquiring about the left turn on Panchkula-Paonta Sahib road which would take us to Morni Hills. Soon we were shifting gears and indulged in the greenery. The amount of excitation cannot be described in mere words. We took frequent stops, posed for camera, laughed, enjoyed and soaked the beauty around. We were yet to reach The Morni town when the sun started painting the lush green hills in saffron color. We hurried towards Morni and enquired about the famous tourist spot Tikkar Taal and came to know that we have another 10 kms for that, reached Tikkar taal at around 5PM. It was twilight time and the fear of dark on hills started creeping into our minds. Started 40 kms journey back to Panchkula, a local guy offered to help us midway who was also going down the hills.
Today when I am scripting through those memories on a lazy Sunday, I am equally excited and smiling with full contentment and still guessing if this was the re-incarnation of a nomadic soul.
I brought my CBZ Xtreme home on 4th Aug 2009, just a few days after my maiden ride to hills, have rode to Morni Hills zillions of times. Since then it has been the trusted companion with my new soul in all circumstances. I tested it on toughest of the tracks and in weathers, but it has never let me down.
Here are the pics, I know many of you were guessing if we will get to see something or not

The first off road Experience:
Morni to NainaTikkar, Aug 14 2009
On my last visit, I noticed a road bifurcating left side a few kms before Morni. After wandering for sometime, came back to my den. But the curiosity kept on increasing to know where that road was leading to? It was the time when BikerZone was not even a dream and I was having no friends of the same interest.
After few days I decided to explore the same, but no map talks about this road. Without any second thought, I started off. The local guys told that there are couples of off roads connecting this region of Haryana to Himachal. I took one of them after crossing the small seasonal river. It was monsoon and the clouds were playing with the wind as the day was getting into adolescence, it started drizzling when I was struggling with the twists and gravels of the so called connecting road. Let me announce that this track is meant for connecting only, any other assumptions are individuals own perceptions

Reached NainaTikkar, had a cup of tea and couple of fags before started for KumarHatti. After Kumarhatti, I was just cruising through the NH 22 to reach Panchkula, but then I came across the signboard directing towards Kasauli, I had enough time to spare for the day, so I follwed the same before reaching the sweet home.
