  • Best Route to nagarjuna sagar from Hyd

    Hi,

I'm driving (Bike, Apache) to nagarjuna sagar tomorrow morning. Can you please tell which is the best route to go: a) NH9 or b) via Ibrahimpatnam.
Any update on road conditions will surely help.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Muks

I went to nagarjun sagar a couple of weeks back by the nh9 highway and the road was god damn good... the last boat at nagarjun sagar leaves at 1:30 p.m. so go by 1:20 to that place... just ~4-5 kms before sagar there is a v shape diversion(you have to take right side road to reach sagar), if you take the left side road, youll have wonderful waterfalls after 12 kms...

While coming back it was very dark and something went wrong... after entering the national highway, i stayed on the nh for 20kms approx... i suddenly reached a dead end on the highway and found my self in some place... after travelling long distance i reached or vanastalipuram after that it was pretty difficult for me in traffic, small traffic traffic jams...

while going also i didnt stay for long on the national highway... just about 60-70 kms after that youll have to take a left turn and roads will be 2 laned... dont... the route is quite confusing... keep yourself updated by asking info from passers by...
