B.E.A.utiful! (same way Jim says in Bruce Almighty)
Very well written bro! - now I know why my ride log reminded you of yours!!
Well, If you submit the proofs you got already- and try to elaborate your trip - I 'think' you could get the cert. as well! <your call, surely>

Your Iron Bu++ is sure Iron!

you did it in mirror with my attempt! (I rode from Blr-Pune and back..)!

      Nicely done man!

I had just two more things - good friend "Anil"-true biker himself., who guided my ride, and was supporting like a rock! and some awesome guidance on route and timing from HVK sir - that helped my minimize the trouble - upto certain extent.. (HVK sir is even better than Google maps!- yess, he is that good!)

But, I can totally understand- what all 1600 km riders (including you and me) cannot put it all in words - about the last 200 kms

      Cheers to the bikers!

      Ace.
I wish, I would be paid by the word! :p

Only for past few weeks in these years I started reading travellogs.. I must say everylog was of its own kind. Loved reading this one too. Last week I was on a attempt from Mumbai to chennai similar to yours a non-saddle-sore but a equivalent ride. But my fellow rider was not able to do this stretch and we halted in chitradurga for the night.

Was this to be a bun burner by any chance?

These rides are all about personal endurance and more importantly (for me at least) mental endurance.. If your bike's well maintained it'll make the trip.

So now that you guys have experienced it once, go for it once more, fully prepared

We were on the Home-Run after 9 days of Monsoon ride in MH. We made a nonstop ride till Mumbai-Satara and I just thought of giving a test for my endurance and my bike. My bike is a 3 yrs old P220FI and I can vouch that it can do that mumbai-chennai constant strecth without issues...
