Hey Nice trip Praveen... and loved the pics... i wonder why you did not take the NH 17 from kunnamkulam to eddapaly... its very congested but scenic.. u get few beaches in between....

And about NH17 thing, thats was the route i had decided on first, but i was told that the roads were not so good and the route was a bit confusing when i looked the maps, many places names which i dint know and it was hard to remember them,since it was my first solo trip and that too a long one, i had to consider going the route which i was most familiar. I would also like to share the cost factor involved in the trip
Petrol : Rs 700/-
Kms run : 440kms
Food : Rs 100/- (Expense at alappuzha was taken care of by uncle)
Boating : Rs14/-
Accommodation : Nil (Was with Uncle)
Total expense : Rs 814/-
Mileage : 44kmpl.
I'm amazed by this figure. Considering i had done many high speed runs during the trip.
All together it was a trip worth it.
