  • Ride from Delhi to Bangalore (Suggestions needed)

    Hi All,

I am moving to Bangaluru and so planning to ride till there from Delhi. Main reason is to get my Steed R15 safly to south. Also i will catch up with my friends in Pune. I will be riding solo this time in case any senior tourers wana give extra tips, it will be great. Any rider wana join me on the way, it will be a pleasure.

I am using this help for route till pune.

After that most probably I will ride with my group to Belgaum. but this is not certain. So the route from pune to Bangaluru is unknown to me. Kindly help me with the same.

    Thanks in advance.
Only thing Gods envy of mortals is that they ride.

From Pune it would be pretty straightforward, just stick to the NH 4 Highway all the way to Bangalore

That is probably it. You already have sufficient info about the route from Delhi to Pune. Make sure you take the Chittaurgarh highway as that saves you a whooping 1hours and 30 minutes. Its more scenic and you escape the mad rush of heavy vehicles as well.

dont know how many days do you have at hand, but you can take the first halt in Udaipur (i stayed in hotel nayee haveli, gangaur ghat for just Rs.200...perfect place to spend the night). The second halt can come as Mumbai. Delhi-Mumbai is also an option.

Pune-Bangalore is pretty much great, less some diversions as you approach Bangalore.

thanks for granting the honor of referring the pune-delhi thread

pune - bangalore is pretty straight highway..
save indian public and cows on roads, you could have put bike on full throttle for straight highway road(save deviation on road) of 850KMs and slept..

some patches grow bad when nearing bangalore, not advisable to cover during night..

best would be cover pune - tumkur/haveri 600-650 km first day and as per your speed take the decision on how much day light is left

ride safe.. and feel free to ping me for any information..
