  • Its not a dream anymore!!

Riding a bullet is my childhood dream. Its not a dream anymore. Yes, Gifted myself a new RE Thunderbird last week.

I live in Chennai but booked the TBTS in Tirupur RE showroom. which is 500km away from chennai near Coimbatore. So, the plan was to ride all the way from Tirupur to chennai.

Last saturday evening, got a call from the dealer that she has arrived.
I was very exicted and call my friend who is a native of Tirupur to accompany me on the ride. He agreed to it.

We both picked up the bike last monday and started on Tuesday early morning 6:00 reached chennai around 5:30pm.

    Total KM : 540 km

    Route : Triupur - Comibature - Gobi - Bhavani - Mettur - Dharmapuri - Krishnagiri - Vellore - Chennai

              Congrats on the new ride!
I think the butterfly crash guard suits the bike better, just my personal opinion though.

Congrats on your bike. You have got a nice bike, Make sure you service every 2500 Kilometers (Atleast a Oil Change) and Adjust the tappets accordingly.

TBTS was my first proper tourer motorcycle and it did serve me well for 15000 KIlometers. Have fun with your motorcycle
