  • Interesting places around Bangalore-Goa stretch

    Folks,

I have been touring in and around Kerala and Tamil Nadu for quite some time now. I would like to move to the Bangalore-Goa stretch. There seems to be a lot of interesting places on that as well as the western ghats. If any of you know of such places, please share with us. We would like to know about all the places there and target them one at a time. The area we are talking about is clearly shown in the map.

    Do share information such as:
    1. Name of the place
    2. Type: such as hill station, forest, etc.
    3. Specific locations in that destination that must not be missed
    4. Distance from known location such as Bangalore
    5. Road conditions
    6. Fuel availability
    7. Cost of stay: cheap, moderate, expensive
    8. Availability of food

    Please help. Thanks in advance!

So, finally, the compass is slowly pointing towards North!

@Bangalore guys: Looking forward to your inputs.
