  • Rajasthan Roadtrips : Help needed

I want to go on Road trips in Rajasthan would be starting with 2-3 short ones around Jaipur to check the bike and my own endurance level before doing a big one in winters.

Any suggestions for routes and yes if any one wants to tag along. Planing to do this weekend to Harsh the second highest peak of Arawali, will be around 300 kms back to Jaipur.

Tips are also welcome as its been around 15 years for my last biking. will post the triplog and pics.

      Welcome!

'Harsh' sounds like a good idea for the weekend.
I am also planning a trip across Rajasthan somewhere in October-November.
it would be great if we could club it together...

I love the road from bikaner to pokhran. Awesome stretch and very little traffic. Check that out as well. Not tiring at all if you are on a fast bike.

If you wish to explore rajasthan, I would suggest you head to Jaisalmer instead of Jaipur. Jaipur is more of a modern city with a lot of commercial exploitation!

Where are you begining your ride from?

Thats a sweet road as long as they are not plagued with army vehicles!

Just figured that the thread started is riding from Jaipur!

Then I guess the Pokhran strecth is a breeze and if you want to do torture test come via the internal routes via bikaner

I'll Suggest you to go upto Sam Sand Dunes its 30 KM from Jaisalmer, you can feel the reel rajhasthani culture here and lots of sand. I visited same in Fab this year, most of the Roads are in good condition, you go beyond 120 easily.
Life is what happens to us when we are busy making other plans.
