Steve, Somehow the vocabulary and usage of words are far superior in this log! Is this because of the excitement and happiness from the ride ??
May be also cos of the profession

Well we had spent 2 nights in Mahableshwar, but it was either raining or misty... All we had is more of riding pleasure. not able to take the cam out all the time cos of the weather..

Guys, but keep the pics atleast flowing before we loose interest. But Steve, personally, I'd request you to write a log; trust me, I don't read any logs, but, your log is exception making me want to read more. Its really excellent & your talent is visible clearly.

Good good good good...& more Read the log twice
BTW, what switch gear & did the ASC not identify a weak battery just when you got serviced the earlier week? And how long has been since a battery change?

                Thanks again.

The switch gear where you have the Self start button(That is what I thought it was called). Regarding the battery, I got the bike serviced a week before the ride and they failed to inform me or rectify the battery issue. I doubt if they did anything in the form of servicing except rip me off completely. Regarding the life of the battery , the battery is about a year and a half old. The service center guy outside bangalore told me the battery was ok.

^^^ Do you know they rip off in another way? My Activa is in ASC for over 3-4 days now. First thing they told me in the estimate was Battery Rs 1400 & I asked them not to touch the battery. Reason?
                  1. The price of battery cannot exceed Rs 1200
                  2. It was changed only an year ago & it only needs to be charged

All the ASC has to do is check the voltage output of battery & charge it based on the outcome. Charging takes about 8 hours & costs not more than Rs 45!!!

Awesome pics Steve sir. Regarding the Davengere speed breakers had a real real bad experience, can say missed falling off the bike. After riding for more than 24 hrs had hit a speed breaker at around 90 Kmph but balanced the bike somehow. Those are sharp speed breakers and they do not have the white marking on them. Saw a few cars and small trucks breaking hard after nearing those speed breakers and even jumping on them.

                        Regards,
                        Deepan
