Thanks a lot Royd. A change of bike, albeit retro, is around the corner. Yup, we plan to fix up some saddle bags and stuff to lighten the burden on my already burdened wifey.

In the year that I have been a member on this forum, I have met a wonderful bunch of youngsters, heroes in their own right, many of who have undertaken breathtakingly daring rides which many of us can only dream about. Yet their warmth, respect and affection touches my heart. I want these young men to continue to enjoy their rides safely for many, many years to come- hence the signature

Thanks Phani (sorry for the late reply). Yes, I guess that diary you mention has gotten heavier and hope it will continue to do so as long as our bodies can take it. The ride on the Fiero was a lot more comfortable for both of us and were really relaxed at the end of the ride. I guess a transition is inevitable.

Thanks Ram. Old enough to choose a car ?? Well, I guess my prologue may answer your question. Moreover I work on civil projects and keep driving all over Karnataka on work. Wifey is a school teacher and drives her car to school, so the first chance we get we jump on to a bike and ride off ! It's a wonderful sense of freedom
