Guys please pardon me, i know i got lost somewhere in the middle due to some commitments. but it's high time to finish the job.

      Sightseeing near Udaipur

I got up half past 6.Had a nice breakfast and tea and was ready to roll. Lokesh decided to start with Pt. Din Dayal Park. It's a peak located few distance away from city palace and one can see Pichola lake and i need to admit its a wonderful view. Upnext was the ropeway to the hill top to Karni mata temple....JAI MATA DI!!!!

The construction resembles with typical rajasthani architecture. I saw similar pattern in jaipur and ajmer. Still, it looks very royal.

      Check out some pics

      View of pichola lake

        On the way to sajjangarh

It's getting hot in udaipur as sunrays started pinching hard. Still i had few hours before i could leave back to Ahmedabad. Next on the card was Sajjangarh and its so called wildlife sanctuary. The guards cautioned us better to take care of yourself when you move inside as they won't be responsible for our life.We where quite amazed as we don't thought about such danger in hiding. So, if decided keeping time in hand that we would escape this part and just visit the fort.

And oh boy!!!! what a way to reach the top. The curves were breathtaking. Twisties invited us to scrape the bottom of my angel and got equally rewarded by lokesh. Don't know whether he actually was enjoying or bit scared , though i guess it could be the latter one.

Sajjangarh Fort is not worth the money. It's still in renovation mode and was a major disappointment for us. The whole fort was empty and no major attraction was there on show apart from its garden. We sat there for a while and clicked some snaps.

Sun was scorching high and i put away my jacket. Our next destination was BAdi Jheel. It's a quite place and if the weather is good one can enjoy, relaxing and doing NOTHING......
but we need to head back and leave to a'bad. so again we clicked some snaps and returned back.

Just found this interesting fact..Udaipur boasts one of the biggest Solar Observatory in Asia.Cool!!!!

            Back to Home!!!

I reached lokesh's home and was really exhausted by heat. Goshhh i still have to cover some odd 235 kms to reach my home, so i spoke to myself not to get budge and to realx a bit. lokesh's mummy had a grand lunch for us and really i forgot everything then and enjoyed the sumptuous food. Seriously yar lokesh i enjoyed it fully. My weekend can't get better than this.

Getting ready to leave back to Home

Before leaving the city, I checked the air pressure and tanked up and here comes the biggest surprise. This is to notify to every commuter and the ones who bother much about "Bhaisahab, kitna deti h?". I calculated. Hold your breath guys...she delivered 41.43 kmpl OUTSTANDING isn't it. what else do u want . 25 horses beneath her and drove her constantly at three digits and still an amazing fuel efficiency. really it pumped me to go at full throttle.

Getting through the city was bit painful but afterwards it was all fun. I raced her at even harder.Getting past trucks, state owned buses,MUVs,SUvs boy just name it, I was going high before i could know i was at Shamaliji.Thought of taking a tea break but cudn't find any nice tea-tapri, so carried it further. Finally stopped at Hotel Samarth, had tea and biscuits and up i go again.

Home seems to coming in much faster than i expected. I continuously rode for around 200kms before i left from Udaipur and for my subdued standards it was really much. My shoulders starts drooping and vision bit blurred and to make matter worse stuck in a narrow paved path just before gandhinagar. I had to concentrate my best to follow the path. No sunshine now, i tried my best to focus on incoming trafffic and after an half hour or so, get past away . Finally touched ring road and got relieved to see six lane highway. I pushed Angel in desperation to reach as soon as possible and crossed toll to finally reach my home. One of my seniors was waiting at my home and was pretty delighted to see me and me too pretty exhausted put away with all the luggage and was flat floored.

But in my mind, it was still going on. I thanked God,my dearest friends, parents and all for their well-wishes and especially Lokesh for his superb hospitality without him, this ride wouldn't be successful.

I ask humbly all my fellow Xbhpians to please review my post and their valuable suggestions so that i can improve further.

            Thanx.....

Nice log Ankit and wonderful trip! It amazed me that CBR has delievered 40+ mileage even on triple digit speeds.

By the way, I cannot see any riding gear except the helmet. Make sure you have them before your next ride.

Any minor issues while riding the bike?? However, even you have a nice road to ride something that may diverted your concentration for a while or was it butter smooth ??

hey MJ.many thanx for your appreciation. She amazed me as much u got amazed regarding her fuel efficiency.

Ha yar tu sahi h, except helmet, gloves and balaclava, i don't have any riding jacket, knee guard and elbow guard.Bhai december me delhi aa raha hu. Tu tab mujhe dilwayio.

She is really stable at triple speeds and above though front end can be still be bit stiff, though rear is just excellent for foot scraping and all. Still i loved your steed much more in this regard. Else it was all smooth....
