    I did the Bangalore Chikmaglur stretch a couple of weeks back and I agree that Belur - Hassan is an excellent piece of tarmac (feels more like a circuit ) . I just enjoyed riding there.. nice log bro..

      Wonderful ride there, man!

      Me being from Sakaleshpur haven't ridden/driven on the Hassan-Belur road! That's an eye-opener for me!

        superb ride there brothaa... these roads are a treat.. after riding in the 4lane stretch from Nelamangala to Hassan, the road from Hassan to Belur will feel like "better to best". however, you should try the road from Sringeri to Horanadu which takes you through Kuduremukha National Forest area... pure bliss... IMO, this is the best stretch in Karnataka. when i went there for the first time, i jumped around with joy like a crazy child. that stretch is a Must.
        A crash on d road may kill d biker n d bike, but d relationship btwn d bike n d biker never dies.

        Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby.

              Yes I have heard about that road through the National Park

                    Very true... Everytime I go on these roads (Belur is my kuladevata's abode) , I feel so damn peaceful & proud..
                    I showed this post to my dad, who happens to be the one who made the designs for the road (Belur-Hassan & Mysore-Madikeri stretches) and executed as well (He works for the Govt of Karnataka) ...

                    He was like "Yes, Thankyou" and "No, you are not going there on a bike"
