After some deliberation we finalized Dasada, though none of the riders had been there before yet everyone seemed to know about the route albeit not entirely, lot of stories about the place making rounds we had to go to confirm them. 10-12 Members agreed but we knew not everyone will make it or wake up early. Even before we dispersed we had 3 cancellations.
Morning I got 2 calls to wake me up, one from the regular culprit Krunal Bunty and the other from Shrey Gohil, though a lot of confusion went on as whether it was Shrey or Shreyansh and how they both came.
Picked up Krunal from his place around 5:30, then moved towards the regular meeting point Vastrapur Lake. On reaching there met Jaiveer (JV) and Souvik Basu, the 4 of us moved on to the Pump as I need some fuel.
Sharad joined in and had his share of fuel as well. Waited for a while then the road of the Bull was heard, with Shreyansh riding and Shrey pillion. The group had assembled yet waited for a few more minutes just in anticipation that someone else might just call up, but that was not to happen.
I took the lead on my P220 with Krunal as pillion, JV on his Rx100 tailing / sweeping the group, Souvik on his Modded Dazzler, Sharad on is not so bright eyed Apache RTR FI and The BULL made up the rest of the group.
Left from Ahmedabad around 6:30 with a plan to return back by noon but life and nature had different plans for us, things we were not fully prepared for.
Reached Sanand without much hassle passing Sarkhej on the way, after Sanand Krunal kept tapping my shoulder asking me to slow down, but with the road being under construction and either of the 2 sides being closed had to negotiate with heavy to very heavy traffic, stopping or slowing down did not seem very logical, pulled of for a some time but then realized something was wrong as non of the other bikes were in the RVM slowed down as much as I could and yet for another 10 Minutes not signs of any of the other bikes, eventually stopped at a Fuel Station and kept checking my Mobile to see if there was any call or message but non.
After some very anxious few minutes saw Sharad and then Souvik after a while saw the Bull and JV, we all pulled up and on inquiring came to know the Bull had developed a snag and was not able to pull fast, the initial diagnostics was that there must have been some water in the carb after the previous days Service at the ASC. Krunal got into action with a screw driver and in no time got the Bull running at full throttle again.
Stopped at a road side Restaurant on the Viramgam By-Pass and ordered some Idli and Wada for everyone, to our amusement saw a few Gujarati Serial actors sitting on the next table enjoying their breakfast and their Privacy, we thought of talking to them but then decided otherwise and left them with something they might cherish.
After the breakfast took the Viramgam By-Pass and again the Bull started mis-behaving, yet pulled on a bit and found a rail-road crossing which waited for the train to pass as the crossing was closed, again Krunal sprung into action and got the bull back to life and on the test run even amused the crowds with a wheelie. These though were not the only issues the bull gave us.
Reached Dasada after a few wrong turns and inquiring with the locals. There seemed nothing like a Dessert anywhere in sight, further inquiry revealed we would have to goto Patdi or Khara Ghoda or Mith Ghoda, decided on Mitha Ghoda as it seemed to be the nearest place.
Reaching there was a pleasure in itself as it was complete offloading trails only with JV taking the lead on his ever so reliable Rx. after a while saw him waiting for the group a with vast expanses of the dessert in front of him and on further observation saw what we were here to see the Wild Asses.
to be cont.

and still a lot more to share. A great trip indeed. The major experiences tat have transformed into an everlasting memory, are still to follow in this trip log.
