after nearly 6 months of completion of ride and 4 months of paying the money&getting a confirmation mail from IBA(iron butt association),our names are finally updated on the website today.
we are yet to receive the certificates from IBA
abhinav couldnt submit the proofs for his ss1600k as he became busy with personal stuff
names under ss1600k
names under BB2500k

No offence, but even when I read the full thing, the impression of seeing a movie slowly crawled in.
Why not some directors make a film out of such achievements, even your BB2500 for instance? Will be great to see it on screen.,
of course with some romance
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

But its heartening to see Ninjas being unreliable like giving exhaust and coolant problem.what was the real problem?i guess you have maintained the bike very well

ninja is a very reliable and capable machine.
its just our badluck that the bikes gave us a bit of trouble(i can blame the mechanics at pbk hyderabad for it
)

although you guys had your share of problems during the ride, still you managed to complete it ....good.
somehow, i had this image of ninja250 in my mind that it is such a wonderful bike, that nothing can happen to it, so was a bit surprised by the incident on one of the ninja.
i want to ask a few things, what are pin-lock inserts and visor cleaning kits, and where did you purchase it?
also i want to know, what kind of speeds you were doing on empty highways, and how much comfortable CBR was to ride with ninja at those speeds.

no doubt ninja is a wonderful and a reliable machine..that incident happend due to the carelessness of the mechanic at the pbk(hyderabad),even though after complaining to him regarding the abnormal heating issue..he didnt check it at root level and claimed that he solved it

pinlock are the transparent films which are applied to the inside of visor of helmets which prevents fogging of visors-we got them from US,dont know if they are available here?
for the visor cleaning we used tissues(dry and wet) and normal solutions which are used to clean spectacles

we were not riding at the top speeds, we decided up on comfortable riding speed at which both machines are comfortable and also depending on the road conditions. so both the bikes were comfortable all through out the ride
