Ridermax- Kudos to you & wife for another wonderful trip. The route is amazing with superb roads most of the way. Infact I had been on the same route by the night bus on thursday night and bus breaks down after talacherry! (thats a long story for another day...) Just flew out from calicut today to Saudi.

Again, full respect for your wife for carrying a heavy backpack.

Me too. Its very hard, atleast for me, to keep carrying like that for hours.

I was infact thinking of suggesting a saddle bag or an extension plate (like carrier) to the bike where the backpack can be rested atleast.

+1 .. Sir, honestly I don't know what to say. You keep inspiring us by every ride you make. Wonderful trip log and great pics too. I liked the pics of the curvy roads the most. Just awesome. Yes R.G, although not very heavy, it's quite hard lugging the haversack around. We are in the process of fixing saddle bags for the bike shortly.

The Return Ride With a Taste of Tibet !

Kannur was hot and humid and the mosquitoes not only stung but were highly musical! Sleep was out of the question and after the cool climes of Coorg, this was more than just uncomfortable. Luckily we had finished meeting our friends so we cancelled the next day’s plans to visit the beach side and decided to return to Coorg.












We left early when it was still cool and headed for the hills pronto! As soon as we started climbing, the weather got cooler and it was back to the lovely curves again.








Riding through the forests and the coffee and pepper plantations of Coorg
is always wonderful.












We decided to break at Bylakuppe and spend some time among the monks and soak in the Tibetan way of life for a while.


















The weather was cool and pleasant we lunched on hot and tasty momos








The temple is beautiful and the Tibetans are warm, friendly and peaceful people. Their aura is contagious and we soon begin to feel a sense of peace and calmness surrounds us.

























The evening was lovely and as we watched the sun set on another wonderful day with the beautiful temple as a backdrop, we felt refreshed and ready for the next morning’s ride back home.























So it was finally back to Bangalore and home
