Have to compliment you again for some absolutely stunning pictures ! Really amazing Jai. And I know what you mean when you say Ooty was freezing. We were there on the 14th and 15th Jan,(had gone by car to attend a wedding ). It was the very first time I saw ice formed on the grass and leaves there.

          Day-5: Munnar to Bengaluru

          Route: Munnar-Top Station- Munnar- Udumalpettai-Coimbatore-Salem-Bengaluru
          Distance: 600 +Kms

Neither a pleasant sleep nor a good morning for me, calling home was the first thing I did after waking up and for my dispirit, things have gone worst. Voice from the other end sounded like an order to come back home. I was little disappointed but had nothing to do. Ani didn't mind at all and told will come back along with me. So, to please ourselves on a long day journey, we decided to do top station and then head back home.

8.30am and we were on our way to top station, those 35 kms tarmac with fantabulous tea plantation views around is an absolute race track for all those cornering enthusiasts but beware of traffic at any corner. Its a pleasure only when we are back home safe.

          Mattupatti Dam

We reached the view point after a blasting ride through those curves. It was just a bliss, for a moment I was feeling like loosing my consciousness. Only pics can prove.

          Anybody game to ride here??

          Spreading the safety Awareness..

Sun has almost reached right on the top indicating its time for us to move from there, headed back covering all those missed beauty in the ripping while coming up.

Last but not the least... Myself in Action

That's all for Day-5, faced a huge traffic jam while coming back but somehow tackled it and found our way down. Checked out from hotel, Had a heavy lunch and then proceeded to continue our long and boring journey on the highways.

Some waterfalls on the way back, I forgot the name.

It was dusky by the time we reached Coimbatore, struggled a bit till Avinashi as road widening was in progress and then it touches one of the best Indian highways. Butter smooth 6 lanes all the way to Bengaluru and we bid adieu to each other at silk board junction around 1am.

What an amazing ride it was!!! a small disappointment that Kerala is still undone but nevertheless I'm not gonna give up. I will be back
