The different legs were: Mumbai - Udaipur, Udaipur - Delhi, Delhi - Varanasi, Varanasi - Calcutta, Calcutta - Vizag, Vizag - Chennai, Chennai - Chitradurga, Chitradurga - Mumbai.

We had completed the GQ strech from Drlhi to bangalore via Ahmedabad.
I now feel GQ is a joke, atleast for the time being. From Delhi till Ahmedabad roads are fine, especially the Expressway After Jaipur.
After Baroda the road widening is underway from 4 lane to 6 way. After surat it road is even worse. Some patches are good, but before Mumbai things are again worse, the Worst possible highway.. the Mumbai western Expressway!
After Mumbai, even for reaching Mumbai-Pune expressway you have to travel through a very bad patch. From Pune till Belgaum roads are excellent. I suppose it's the Dream Project of GQ. But sadly after Belgaum near Dharwad a strech of 90 odd kilometres is still under construction!Been There, Done That; Better!Comment

Yes that western express highway in Mumbai is always not a good place to ride.
In mumbai wen going from panvel or from south side to north we always take the eastern express highway.
Less traffic and less bad patches. And also short in distance toosigpic

Golden Quadilateral ride July 2011
Hey Everyone ,
Im plannin to ride the Golden Quadrilateral sometime in the month of July ( 3rd week ) . Does anyone wanna do this ?? i Hear the record is 118 hours so kinda want to do it in 100 hours.
Any suggestions and advise would be appreciated ??
Im looking for sponsors too , broke after riding to Ladakh. Any1 knows any1 lemme know.
