Great start rachit. You have taken the perfect approach to 'induct' pooja into biking by taking it easy & making her feel comfortable so that its a long term biking enjoyment....sure the pleasure of enjoying your hobby with your better half is very special. BTW, down the road, pls do consider investing in a bluetooth rider/passenger intercom also like Scala rider etc- Take it from me, its really worth the money & multiplies the fun factor....
Wish you both many many miles of enjoyable biking.

Nostalgia
Your post reminded me of the tour my wife and I had done way back in 1995 - Kapurthala to Manali and back. Back then, I had a KB-100RTZ. No saddlebags then, only a backpack. No elaborate gear, only helmets. We had been newly married then (Mar 95) and had done our first holiday together on the bike in July. Some really lovely memories of that time.
Now the kids are growing up and take up all her time. Yet, she gets wistful when reminiscing of just the two of us, our bike and the open road ahead. After I got my CBR in May last, we have been planning and planning but no time... Guess we will get some when the kids have gone to college leaving budha and budhi to do their much-loved biking
Pooja and Rachit, way to go, guys. Keep up the spirit! Now, Rachit, you must teach Pooja to drive the bike - it is a gentlemanly bike and ladies will like it!Last edited by icemang; 02-10-2012, 04:41 PM.

My fiance was at first not able to soak in the shock of me riding fo much. But over the time, with all these bikes,biking,touring,G2G talks even she has developed some interested.
I plan to organise a Couples G2G soon after I get married to some nearby place where we all could ride with our better halves (GF's included)
in group. Let them also experience the joy of group riding.
