Hi Raj,

We never knew that there was a guest house at Kudremukh. We came to know that only when we reached Kudremukh checkpost from the checkpost personnel. We were told by the guesthouse personnel that normally we have to book the rooms, but since rooms were available we were given two rooms.

In order to book rooms, you have to send a fax request. I have lost the number somewhere. But, you can get it on google..You have to mention your name, number of people visiting, purpose of visit, and your ID proof ( Your company's badge ID, if you are an MNC employee) and for how many days you want the accommodation.

I must say that stay and food were worth every penny.

Hopefully this info would be useful to you.

. Must do this route soon (after the monsoon). Have driven that route by car but waiting to ride !
