any bike capable of doing 90 kph on speedo can pull of a saddle sore. the average speed required to complete is 70 kph non stop riding 24 hours. so some extra speed is required for short breaks etc so as to complete the ride within the stipulated time.

so the bike is not very critical as long as it can touch about 90 kph in real time and also it is in good condition.

your bike is just one piece of the puzzle. so don't worry. most bikes and even some scooters are capable pulling out a saddle sore.

so its upto you.

Thanks sire. Of course I'll not try it on a KB. If I do it it'll be on a bigger and new bike. But still have a very long way to go. Like you said, one is the bike's preparation and the other is the biker's. That way I have a lot to learn.

Although, I fail to understand the point of Saddle Sore concept. It sounds like a lone race to to see if one is able to blitz through distances..

What is point of this affair if you had no time to stand and stare.. or did u ???
