Thanks a lotOriginally posted by Guru_DTSi View PostCongrats dude... All these days, I used to consider that getting an SS was not too difficult. I assumed that a little bit of planning and a better bike should do it for me.
But I was jolted back to reality, when I did my Hyderabad-Bengaluru ride Yesterday morning. Certification or not, completing the ride is a great achievement and I am truly humbled now.
All the best and hope you get your certification soon.
I have all the required documents, and sending the same to IBA this weekend
Execution of plan and bit of luck is important
All the best to you
Avenger is not a huge bike. It looks huge thoughOriginally posted by abywaran View PostGreat Stuff Congrats i am wondering how can cross winds affect a heavy bike like the avenger. I was shaken quite a lot on my P135 that is understandable but how come it can affect an Avenger ?and i exactly know the feeling of how you would have felt in the Bangalore to Chitradurga Stretch.
Even i cursed my stars and the government for so many diversions, i used to call it my second home stretch after i cracked this route in my first saddle sore within 2 hours that too with three stops in between. hope they don't spoil the roads further.
Kudos to you again and apply to IBA ASAP. :-)
Even the speed at which cross-winds blow matters. That night, Gusts were heavy, and even I was surprised with the way my bike wobbled. However, bit of stance change worked for me to keep the bike stable. I too hope they get the road back in shape ASAP. I am sending all the required documents to IBA this weekend. Thanks for compliments
All the best. Safe ride

I did a Mumbai-Bangalore road trip with a 4-wheeler for Metallica concert last year along with 2 other co passengers who could drive in 14 hours and I felt out of the world :P :P

Congratulations on successfully completing the ride!!!
Waiting for the pics to be uploaded....
All the best for all the future rides!!!
I could take very few pics before and during the ride, and most of them are of odometer. Since, I am not a speed-freak, time was even more precious to me. So, could not stop in between to take pics, even though I was tempted many a time especially in the morning. I have uploaded whatever I had. Sorry for the poor quality though. Wish you all the best
