    [Photo Feature]: NH17 to NH4

    A Weekend ride to ganpatipule temple got extended and covered kolhapur enroute!

    Route:

    Mumbai - Mahad - Chiplun - Guhagar - Velneshwar - Jaigad - Ganpatipule - Ratnagiri - Amba ghat - Jothiba - Kolhapur - Naikba - Karad - Katraj - Lonavala - Mumbai

    Total Distance     : 1076 km

    Rides     :

    RTR160, P150 & RE STD 350

    Date :

    20/4/12 6 pm to 23/4/12 9 pm

    Highlights :

    1. Night riding in NH17
    2. Kashedi Ghat
    3. MTDC resort at Ganpatipule
    4. Ferry ride on Jaigad jetty
    5. Coastal road from ganpatipule to Ratnagiri
    6. Amba ghat
    7. Jothiba temple and ghat road leading to the temple

    Good pics, but the text description seems inadequate. You can mention the events, the schedule, etc. in 4-5 lines. But you seem to have had a nice trip.

          Nice pics. would have liked to read some log. Anyways, could you update on the road conditions in the amba ghat(between ratnagiri to kholapur)?

              Ratnagiri to kolhapur - road condition is good. very little patches of bad road.
              But the road from Guhagar beach to Velneshwar is very bad.
