Today, we had a small G2G Ride to Narsapur forest, approximately 50 kms from Hyderabad.
Riders:
A few of us decided yesterday to ride to Narsapur forest to welcome the greens of the forest in the monsoons. It was sunny yesterday, and all of a sudden in the evening it started raining. When we woke up early morning, it was still drizzling, and two of the members dropped the ride plan, but a few of us who love to ride in rain decided to go on with the plan.
Our special guest for today's ride was the Vespa 125, with retro styling, looks really gorgeous. We met at Runway9 at 6:30 a.m. and started riding towards Narsapur forest. The drizzle became a little heavier and it was fun riding the twisties, while enjoying the beauty of the green forest around us.
In my recent exploration, me and Rakesh found a very small beautiful lake deep in the forest area. It was dry when we found it in the summer. I took everyone to this place. A loose gravel road of 3 kms leads to this small lake . All the bikes danced in this road. Little bit of off-roading needed to reach this lake. The lake was half-filled by now, and the forest became thick and green.
It was drizzling and everyone was amazed at the beauty of the place. We spent almost three hours there taking pictures. Sasi, Chiyan, and Murlidhar went into the forest and got lost in it. They were able to come out of it with google coordinates sent by Kiran.
After photosession, at around 11 a.m., we started from the place and reached Toopran to have Brunch (Breakfast+Lunch). Had nice Puri with 'Allam Chutney' at Athithi Restaurant on NH7.
