Well, because I didn't had it then To be honest, my friends were not game for a bike trip (too scared) and I was deperate to go to Ladakh so agreed to whatever option was feasible at that moment. Now that I've been there, my desire to do this trip on a bike has multiplied by 100. In an year or two, i'll do this on my CL500, like it should have been in the first place.

It was my first time too and the moment you cross Jawahar Tunnel and get to look at the faraway snow clad mountains, it's just a totally amazing feeling. IMO it's just too much beauty to be absorbed

                      Some pics...

While we have our hot maggi & tea at the world's highest restaurant, our rides enjoy the view

                      Lonely mountains of Ladakh

                      !st view of Pangong Lake

And we reach the most amazingly beautiful place..Tso Moriri...last 40 kms have no roads and we loved it

The gang at Tso Moriri..only sounds are of wind & water

we walked & walked for hours...

at Leh ATM...all have endless queues so carry something to eat while you wait...

just posing with my ride while we wait for our food as usual...food takes time but is great

roaming around Leh on my bull...

everyone warned us to not take this route back to Manali...am so glad we took it in the end..at Tanglang La

                      Moore plains...beautiful but treacherous...and we were stuck...twice

we walked to lessen the load but our little ride still got stuck...this place is not meant to get stuck..

while we were stuck, we decided to click some stuff until someone came to our rescue...

despite the tension of being stuck, we couldn't help but be amazed by this outworldly place...

and we moved from Sri Nagar

                      Zozila begins...

within 10 minutes it told us that we aren't going anywhere...not before we witness his power..

after 6 hours of helplessness, Zozila finally allowed us to leave...his messgae was clear...Leave Me Alone

posing with our Leh's hotel owners Desert Storm...

all set to ride to Khardung La...we were damn excited

returned from Khardung La...ready to roam around Leh...it's a great feeling roaming around Leh

                      my ride

okay...I jsut clicked pictures, didn't parked
