NOTE: There is an ATM facility provided by State Bank of India in Keylong. The ATM is just 10 minutes drive from the guest house. So we had ATM at Manali, then at Keylong and then straight at Leh.
But I guess destiny had planned something else..

Thanks for the appreciation bro... Uncertainty regarding bike issues was the only reason due to which I thought of returning back but anyway manali was the last time I had thought of quitting...Will upload next part by evening...

courage is not the absence of fear but fighting off fearNOTE: An advice to people who plan to go to Leh via Manali side, then planning to cross Rohtang on a Tuesday will enable you to drive peacefully without any tension of traffic.

Also please note that Mandi has authorized service centres of a lot of companies. If any servicing/work needs to be done, then get it done at Mandi as there is no help beyond Mandi, all the way upto Srinagar. There are mechanics in Keylong and Leh but they dont stock spares.
Just a few pics taken during the day:

                        A small waterfall en route:

                        Sun at its full glory:

Notice the borderline in the river:

                        Just before Manali:

I was nervous as well as excited for the next day as I had to climb Rohtang again from the slushy side but climbing the mountain the previous day with burnt clutch plates gave me a lot of confidence. Even though I learnt a lesson the hard way, it was actually good for me as I realized my mistake right at the start of the trip instead of getting stuck at a place where no help could be possible. And if an appointment with death is written, then how can a person take a U-turn. I had a royal dinner with her the next day....All previous near-death experiences seemed like minor bumps in the road.

awesome triplog bro superb...three guys running in different directions after seeing the smoke in TB was awesome..btw how did you manage to fit all the things in a single bag..and what was the weight of the bag?was it literally riding with a pillion because of bag?and before this did you have any touring experience?

also can anyone explain why did maverics bike loose its break pressure?

Good one bro. Inspiring!! Waiting for the rest of the log..
We are miles away from the routine.
                            Headlights rise over the horizon.
                            Pierce the morning fog.
Cut through the clutter in our minds.
                            Carve new highways!

Thanks for a lot bro for the lovely words...
Dont know the exact weight of the bag but it never allowed me to walk properly whenever I had to get it off for the night.. Oh fitting everything in was ultra time consuming..I used even the walls of the bag to stuff things...I had packed it after a lot of thinking for instance I kept smaller size sweatshirts on left side n bigger jacket n all on right side so that both items can be comfortably places paralelly...Till 3 days I was wearing the bag on my shoulder so there was a feeling of pillion but later I tied it to the seat so was completely free.
I didn't have much touring experience prior to Ladakh but I had a few short rides under my belt..

Great ride buddy!! Soloing Ladakh is really something different from any other ride. Everyone says that it needs a lot of preparation (which it does) but now we know that doing it majak majak mein is also possible and provides a different experience altogether..Kudos
