Another sweet ride, another refreshing photo set. Your rides are urging me to do a long bike trip with my wife down South, ridermax. What, in your expert opinion, would be the best time of the year to do it? Say 15 odd days or so?

Again, most refreshing to be in the wood with you and Mrs RM!

Thank you Maneesh ! Great to hear from you. Yes the South does have a kaleidoscope of scenic places to tour. I myself have many more places to explore in my bucket list

The best time, I think would be Dec/Jan when the weather is relatively cooler though the humidity at the coast won't let up much. But then it all comes as a bundled package along with the joy of biking

Regards & Best Wishes to you & Mrs Maneesh

Hi ridermax, a friend and I are planning going to B R Hills tomorrow. How are the roads from Bangalore via Kanakpura? Anything to look out for?

Sir with your permission, if i could reply to this. The road conditions are good all the way. Climb up BR hills and descend down towards K Gudi check post on the other side. Not much of wildlife activity (compaed to Bandipur/Mudumalai) but it as fun to ride as any other hill station. Though the traffic is very less, look out for those cabs/cars which come downhill without notice.

Thanks Phani for the reply ! I was quite busy yesterday and did not log in to check the query. Glad you you could guide a fellow member on the route. Of course, who better than you for info on this route, you know it like the back of your hand
