Hello,
A group of 14 bulleteers went on a trip commencing from Legend Motors Chennai to Yelagiri Hills.
This trip was Organised by Legend Motors in order to promote road safety as well as to motivate new riders in the club.
Since i had an old Standard 350,i was skeptical about finishing the trip without any concern.
I took it as a challenge, and gave the bike for servicing to the Nearest Royal Enfield Service Centre(Legend Motors,Chennai)
On 13th Oct 5.30 am all the riders gathered at the showroom(Legend Motors,Chennai),and with safety instruction as well as Pilot Bike,a mechanic,support Vehicle we started towards our destination.
The first halt was at Vellore RUDRA hotel,with filter coffee,two idlis and Vada..the breakfast was like nector.
Cruising through the Highway,valleys,paddy fields after which we gathered below the Yelagiri Hills,
Where we were again instructed about the safety while driving through ascent specially through the hair pin bends,we were divided into small groups so that our group does not tends to any traffic issues on the valley highways.However my bike was cruising well but it suffered little boil,we stopped and reduced the weight by letting the pillion sit on other bike.
Alas we made in on top,where our resort was booked,Exact 3 hours,and 230 km ,with still petrol in the main, we rejoiced.
Since this was my first trip i experienced something GODLY,though we as riders were having stunning experience,but i also saw a glimpse of happiness and smile on the faces of people either on foot,bikes or car who by passed us...this made me emotional and more fell in love with my Royal Enfield.
