The silencer more or less resembles the HYO 650! Not a bright idea though!Originally posted by Sunny View Post
The Panigale on the left has been subjected to strict Japanese noise emission norms, while the on the right is meant for the showcase here in Tokyo !

Haha! That's a superb piece of information.Originally posted by rakeshogi View PostAll the best for the ride.
Do you plan to pass by Utsunomiya? I would like to drop in and say a "konncihiwa" if you guys stop by utsunomiya.
And by the way, do you know that police in tochigi prefecture have GT-Rs and NSXs? So, better dont overspeed! And do le me know how much the tolls cost. I'm guessing they will be around 250000 yen for 8000kms.
Arigatou,
GTR and NSX, what else would the cops want in life. Grrrrr!!

Beautiful picture.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

The beast comes alive, bringing me back to life
A tap to shift and flick of the wrist
The beast takes flight bringing me back to life

Japan is very big, contrary to what you might reckon. And its quite time consuming since they have narrow roads and strict speed limits.Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostDoes Japan even have 8000 KM of roads???? :O
Or did you end up going round the country 10 times?
However here is a photo from day 2 today:I get the first taste of the fall palette in Japan. This seemed like scene right out of Jurassic park albeit the post production was perhaps done by an over-enthusiastic graphic artist! More photos will follow from this day in the blogs.

If this isn't a postcard riding road then what is! Shot in Lake Towada in The Great Japan Roadtrip after riding 350 kms in non stop rain and gale! Follow at The Great Japan Roadtrip by xBhp: Powered by Shell Advance
Day 3 of the Japan Roadtrip. 400 kms done, our of which 350 kms were done in rain and single digit temperatures. I reached the foothills of Mt. Hachimantai only to find a lone Japanese police officer standing guard at the entrance of the road. He said 'snow' and 'bike fall'. I turned back to find a detour to my destination for the day which was still 100 kms away. The next 50 kms were one of the toughest in my touring career so far. I was battling against gales which were threatening to throw my bike on the expressway. This with the incessant rains and biting cold. Last time I experienced such winds were at the Rimutaka ranges in New Zealand. I could'nt even stop and take out my camera for a whole 300 plus km run! Tomorrow I hit the northern island of Hokkaido, which is very close to Russia and is supposed to be extremely cold. I can only imagine what will happen next and I hope I dont have to turn around!
