They have got mainly Scuba and snorkeling as main attraction. Apart from that u can get trekking arranged if in a group.

There are options for HM couples like reserving a deserted island for a day, boating etc.

So you cannot sit on a HH with Gas Jeans huh?
Well ahem!. it may look like mocked ones. In activa it was hidden...
But all those show off's was a waste when I made a fool of myself. 99% of 'em were topless(male) and semi topless (females) and nude (animals), and we both were fully covered with clothes and Sunscreen !...
(my wife is highly beauty conscious FYI)

I thought of riding the bike back being topless but was not allowed by the Headquarters (no nothing like that, actually my tummy was smiling more than me)

@SP: Thanks for those pictures. The beaches really are clean and clear. Lovely shots, beautiful shots. Have you used polarizer for the all the beach shots?

Yes dude. A polarizer is a real useful stuff when on beaches. I'll post some more fotos in which the polarizer nicely removed the unwanted, awkward reflections from the water and I got a crystal clear shot of transparent H2O with NaCl.

Andamans is known for Swimming Elephants. Those Elephants can swim, and they can be your companion while scuba diving and snorkeling!

There is an italian restaurant on the Radhanagar beach side run by Barefoot Resort. We took a chance to peek in the menu and in less than a minute we were climbing to the restaurant (literally as the lounge is on top of a bamboo hut)

We hogged in Italian pizaa cooked by an italian chef and headed back to our resort.
On the way back, I was singing kishore kumar's selectives when something paused my melodies, boy I was about to run over a guyana which was crossing the road without a zebra crossing...
It was pitch black in colour and looked damn scary, I was shit scared and thanks to the ULTIMATE braking of Honda Activa which made it difficult to instantly standstill the bike even at 30 kmph, activa brake sucks..

Fortunately I managed a zig-zag in a heroic style and saved life of that repltile...
I turned back to see, the reptile was staring at us in an attack mode, I could think only one thing, roatate the throttle max and do 10-20-30-40-60 kmph (in 20+ seconds) and run away...

No idea clicked to click photos ... But now I think I missed it, I must have tried it for u guys to see.

Evening we planned to take a walk again to our Resort beach (Vijaynagar Beach), well it was a romantic excuse from me to do clickings ..

The clouds were dramatic while we were taking a walk...

We had to take an early sleep bcoz I planned to take some more sunrise shots and most importantly next day were heading towards Elephant beach for snorkeling on a boat !... The teaser pic was taken there only..

                          Congratulations!

I know I am repeating what has been said many times over, but it is worth it. Congratulations on your marriage as well as for having gone to such a wonderful place.
Your pictures do justice to the place and am sure they have inspired several others to make it to Havelock. They definitely have inspired me to do so.......
BTW, wonderful pictures and great storytelling. Looking forward to more.

SP: dude, truly dazzling dazzling pix mann! It reminded me of my first tryst with my D80 with a polarizer on the beach! Simply superb, stunning pix mate. having a tripod is a boon isnt it sometimes...especially on such places when theres no one else to frame yourself properly isnt it..

                              Truly gorgeous work, awaiting more.
                              kp it up!

Thanks a zillion buddy .. Havelock is worth a visit, and I do encourage everyone offline as well as online. To repeat again, the place is far better than all the international destinations I have been to

Yup dude.. And believe it or not , all the pics are taken using 18-55mm D40 kit lens .. no VR !.. The fusion of tripod, polarizer, remote did an amazing work (I must thank bprags for this combo advice) .. I was kinda frustrated with the gear I had, but things turned out to be fine !..

Imagine what a Nikkor 10-20mm and Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 with a D300 will do there?

I am going again next year with a bag full of gears (possibly a new cam as well) and dedicate myself to nothing but scuba and photography!
