  • [Photo Feature]: For the First Time Strom is here @ xBhp

Better Late than never. Its been a month of ownership now.
vstrom 650 was never my choice I almost bought a beamer 2013 F700 - but had to drop the plan at the last moment. A few things did not work out.

No regrets as I am loving the bigger ZMA

I had even test drove the Honda NC 700x the . But some how I didnt like the prallel twin. Bike was so light , I did not even get the confidence of going fast. I was not sure how stable its gonna be on texas highways - It was a straight no after the test drive

Choosing vstrom was a better choice, its bike very comfortable for tow up and reasonably good mileage too.

And with all those panniers carrying luggage is not a big deal at least for a weeks ride

Now I would post some pics from last four weekend rides. First two were just sunday afternoon rides with in 200 to 300 miles with in texas. This was more of ride to get used to know the bike...

Following weekend headed to Arkansas - 2 days trip and 1100 miles. And again the following weekend 1 day trip 600 miles. BTW Consider Arkansas as how wayanad was to me when I am in India (for those who know me ) . This is a beautiful state with lot of great roads , mountains , greenery any direction to take.

Now pics for those 2 arkansas ride will follow but for now some pics from the sunday ride. And yes I would write more abt the bike for those are interested to know about that

Not a great looker, but does the job well . bet it be 75 mph on highways or on twistiest on the hills

yes it does have a ABS and nothing to complain or brag about

Any resemblance to ZMA here ?

here is the lake we visited

    Last pic for today

    Ride safe !

Wonderful pics and congrats on buying the Storm. From profile, it did indeed look like a bigger ZMA. Obviously its much more powerful and more comfy.

Keep the pics flowing and the rides going.

                        Superb bike, lovely pictures,

The V-Strom side view is very much like the Zma, all it needs is red shock absorbers and an engine cowl

Just flick the switch and twist my wrist
The beast comes alive, bringing me back to life
A tap to shift and flick of the wrist
The beast takes flight bringing me back to life
Kill the silence, tear apart the dark
The beast rips the road, hell yeah, i feel alive.
