Sitting in office on a Friday eve is terrible and especially when you are planning to go for a ride on Sat morning.! It was 16th Nov (Friday) morning I decided to go for a weekend ride out to some place to get relaxed from the entire stressful workload week. Since I am new to this place I do not much of riders at Cochin; so I decided for a SOLO ride as most of my rides are!Now comes the question- Where to go? I had planned for a Valparai trip couple of weeks back, but got postponded cos of professional/personal reasons. So I decided to make the Valparai trip this time. So the trip is finalised. I have heard a lot about the forest route Athirapalli-Valparai about 75 kms and was always thrilled about the route. In fact I am riding off to Valaparai just to experience this wild jungle ride. The plan:Ride: Pulsar 200NSRider: Srinath (Me)I woke up at 4 AM got fresh, I did not had much luggage except a puncture repair kit, water, a pair of dress & some bananas . And most important the papers!I started from Thripunithura, Cochin at 5:30 AM. I had fuelled my bike last night itself, so rode off to Chalakudi straight on the highways!.

It was 6:20 AM when I reached Chalakudi. The weather was pure fresh and the sun was just rising up. From Chalakudy I turned right onto Athirappalli road. It's at 30KM from Chalakudy. After some 15-20 kms itself the twisties and forest starts ! Now Into the wild....Few teasers (Sorry if the pic quality is poor.. Smarphones does not give SLR quality )

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
