A saddle sore is more related to proving to yourself that you are a tough rider. its a benchmark against which you get to compare your endurance of riding with others
    and
to test your skills to tackle problems quickly while you are on a ride...

I have never attempted such a feat simply because i am still learning, and i am not yet brave enough to do so. but yes, if you have completed this ride successfully, you stand a testimony for yourself.. else fake records can be generated anytime...

hope you have the right set of documents to prove this to the IBA People... Best of luck buddy. do post the reply from the IBA people as done by Ketan during both his IBA rides...

    best of luck buddy

But I dont understand this concept all together!! Some call it endurance ride some xyz.. but I believe sitting on a machine for 24 hours is all about it!! Why not do it on a bicycle!? That would be a true endurance ride!! You gain nothing out of these rides.. Your body only loses.

How many of us are game for a bicycle ride for 24 hrs? Atleast that will strengthen your legs apart from the usual butt.. which would anyway be strengthened if you sit on a stool for 24 hrs!!

Not to undermine achievements of many.. but the whole concept is disheartening.

I would prefer a gaming company designing a life size motorcycle with a 24 hr game installed. You just have to run the bike virtually in the game(choose 150 cc for 500 bucks, 200cc for 1000 etc etc) without keeping your feet on the ground or completing 1600 kms in 24 hours with occasional freetime.

Atleast you will avoid endangering yours and others lives.. save fuel.. will not worry about approval process etc etc. and the same iron like butt feeling!!
Everyone has his own belief, concepts and reasons to ride. SS is not just about butt.... its way up.... your mind... its whether your mind can endure riding a bike for 24 hours.... whether your body can win against fatigue and convert the tiredness into pain that you enjoy.... as far as virtuality goes.... why not do everything in virtual room... touring.. cornering.... motogp.... after all in everything mind and body do get a beating.... dont we endanger others life when we zip past at highways above 100 kmph when others are doing 60 kmph on their bikes..... SS is test of your concentration.... endurance and will power... whether someone wants to take it or not is a personal choice.... and well as riders lets not debate about fuel.....
No hard feelings... just putting up the other side of mindset...
      Cheers....

Hope if the snaps and the log is true, and if IBA approves his hand written receipts than i guess his name will be registered on the IBA site, just like ketan nikharge, DK and tushars name are registered.

So fake certificates and original certificates can be distinguished easily.

@dualdisc - i know about your saddle sore attempt, but i have not known the reason why they rejected when everything was legal and in time.

          Thanks Srinath

          These were the issues why we got rejected;

          1. The Thermal paper in one of the last leg Pumps had issues that the Ink got faded away in a couple of minutes which was seen only after reaching the final point, which was same for all the five bikes &
          2. As fate goes, the camera which was used to take pictures of all the 5 Bikes had issues with memory card that only the last set of images were never recorded on the Memory card.

Wrote a detailed mail to IBA and as the rules are not easily bendable, there goes our dreams to make it to the charts....
Whenever there is a Rainbow in the sky, I know it's u mastering the art of Cornering. U will always be remembered brother, R.I.P Arun.
