I woke up with drooling eyes with a thought to doze off again.
Just then a voice came to my mind.. Get Up Dude.. It time to hear the throttle roaring..
I got ready and met my friend at R.K Ashram Marg Metro Station @ 5.40 A.M. we then drove towards the Starting point of the event.
South Ex2 Market Flyover. All were expected to meet there by 6 A.M.
I had been to few places from Bangalore on my RTR Fi 160, but this was a first time on my New Red Bumblebee from my Native Place. So, was pretty excited.
The event was :: The Delhi Bikers Breakfast Run from Delhi to a Palwal Dhaba.
The world is full of mixed thoughts and responses. From "Way to go Buddy..Follow your heart" (from my friends) to "Tu itni duur Breakfast karne jayga.. vo bhi itni thand mein subah.. Dimag thik hai" (from my {you guessed right}), i got a mixed response.
But i decided to follow my heart and take some steps, rather few towards it.
As soon we took a U-turn from the flyover, there were around 150 bikes and bikers standing and chatting (respectively
) in the parking area.Huge variety of machines were parked there.
From CBRs to Pulsars to Dukes all were present.
Wait.. Did i spotted Couple of Harley Fat Boy parked with Harley XR1200 with a Ninja 650R looking over.
and it doesn't ends with the High end bikes.. Activa and CB Twisters were parked proudly in between the herd.
Boy.. Its going to be something special.
I parked my Red 200 NS and met the organizers through my friend and soon after that instructions were issued.
All Bikes on Low Beam, Helmet Compulsory, 2 * 2 formation and we started. The ride was shorter this time as compared to their earlier trips.
I looked in the rear view mirror after some time - All bikes in a dual snake's Trail.
I ride was swiftly managed by the Marshalls driving up and down the trail. We stopped in between for a quick photo break.
Breakfast was okay sort off. I was back at home by 12 P.M.
Did any of the fellow xbhpians were also on the trip.?? If yes then kindly post your experiences.
It was a first for me and i think that from Activa to Harley.. The Cohesiveness Rocked..
Cheers,
