Day 4: Return home.. Goa - Pune

The last day of the trip.. It turned out to be a lazy day with nothing much happpening..
      Some final photos in Goa

      Amboli ghat on the way..

The famous waterfall of Amboli ghat.. Somehow managed to keep the tourists out of the frame..

I wonder who came up with this..

After crossing amboli ghat, a guy overtook us on a Ducati monster.. A bike i am in love with.. He was riding solo and had the go pro camera mounted on his helmet.. One day, i told myself, i'll do the same.. When everything seemed to be going smoothly, i felt my bike loosing grip and dragging a bit.. A puncture.. Again.. In the middle of nowhere under scorching sun.. Extremely irritating.. Luckily, there was a village just some 4-5 km ahead and had a puncture shop.. If not for that shop, i had decided that i would ask a tempo or a truck for help.. Load the bike into it travel till a puncture shop..

In the meanwhile, a surprise rider.. A BMW S1000RR!!

Once back on NH4, it was some high speed riding..
      Enter Maharashtra.. A warm welcome..

We took one last break at kolhapur macdonalds.

The road from here on was familiar and I decided not to make any more stops unless required..
One last stop just after sunset..

I was standing on the road divider with the camera, a lucky click for my friend, thanks to the light of the oncoming traffic..

After i reached home, the trip meter was the only thing i saw.. 1466 kms..

I had enjoyed every bit of it.. There were many things to be learned and improvements to be done in the future roadtrips.. Hopefully, the future rides will be better and more hassle free..
Butter smooth highways, western ghats, through dense forests, along the coastline, in pitch darkness.. My first interstate roadtrip.. It will always hold a special place in my memory..

      Hope you guys liked it..

      Cheers,
      Pranav
