Next morning.. As decided we woke up early at around 7.00am. It was quite cold at that time.
That's the house..u can also see milk man's cycle in the pic..

We got ready in some time..
We were supposed to go to the neighbouring village where my friend's other aunt stays. It's around 15 Kms from this place. My friend had told me it's gonna be one beautiful experience for me..So was quite excited.

Both the bikes were washed up and ready to hit the roads.

We hit the road at around 8am in the morning.
Both..the roads as well as climate was ideal for biking. Sun was out too for that little warmth.

Ahmednagar is all about agriculture..farming..agriculture related industries.
Where u go, green farms will follow u.. Greenery on both sides of the road.

We then reached a small village called Walki. It's very very remote village with a small population. It's where my friend's mom was born. We had come there to visit their ancient God..the GramDaivat as it's called- The Munjoba mandir. Also we had to go to Bhairavnath temple.

While my friend and his bro were busy praying i got some shots around the temple..

It was fun watching these kids play..
No tension..no worries..pure fun...Wow... makes me wish koi lauta de woh bachpan ke din...
It's so much fun.. playing marbles..flying kites..chasing hitting each others..running around like butterfly..So much fun..

Once done with prayers we moved ahead..and now we were heading to my friend's aunt's place nearby.
It's once again a huge bunglow but what was special is that it's located right in the middle of their farms.

Tell u guys..I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH NATURE AND NOR THAT I HAVE SEEN SUCH A VARIETY IN FARMING IN SO CLOSE PROXIMITY.

Once we reached there the only colour we could see was green.. green and more green. We didnt even bother to get inside the house, simply parked our bikes and ran towards the farms like small kids.. One boy accompanied us who was the son of a worker in the farm. He was our guide for that farm walk.

Just to tell u what all was there in those farms.. check these out..

      Orange fields..

      Bran..or wheat..

      Corn..

      Jowar..

      Papaya..

      Chiku...

That's me in front of the maize farm..

      Fig..

      Onion field...

      Guava..

      Green chilli..

      Red chilli...

      Onion flowers..

      Badam tree..

      Custard Apple...

I dont know the name of these fruits but these are locally found and are not grown for commercial use.

      Onions left to dry..

Just to give u guys an idea of how fresh things u get to eat when u have ur own farms of it..
When we were done with the photography we went in and then friend's aunt started preparing something for us to eat. she needed some green chillis and other stuff like coriander leaves..
She simply went out in the farms and got those fresh things for us..

They also have lots of cows and goats so again fresh milk is always there.

Here's the proud owner of all these farms with his grand children..

Where do we get to see these lamps these days? Except those found with bhaiyyas selling goods on hand carts but those to are petromas these days. These people use it while they water farms.

Everything was done and we headed back to our home cause we were supoosed to leave for Mumbai by 1 o clock in the afternoon. It was a nice ride back home. Got our bike topped up before getting home.

We were enjoying a lot and had no clue what lied ahead for us. We reached home and what we heard was unthinkable. just before we got home, a few mins before that small cute baby, Sakshi, was playing in their balcony of first floor and she fell down from there, said one of her uncles who was rushing to the hospital where she was taken. We were like glued to the ground. Everything turned dark in front of our eyes. It was really unbelievable to hear such a news bout the girl with whome we were playing enjoying just a few hours ago. Without thinking of anything we turned towards the Akolkar Hospital. She was kept in ICU. We rushed inside to see how is she.. Fortunately she was in her senses and was resiprocating and recognising people around her. Her entire right side was damaged and swollen right from her forehead, eyes, cheeks and she was not able to move her right hand. She was also bleeding heavily thru her mouth. I was on the verge of crying and breaking upon seeing that scene. Her father was in a huge troma as he saw her fall down in front of him and couldnt do anything to prevent. He was speechless. Wasnt even looking up. Was weeping in one of the corners of the room.

We immidiately consulted with the Docs. They said nothing can be said unless we get the CT scan done. They prescribed for the same and asked to get it done asap. We rushed down stairs to get an auto but by the time we reached down there was a fleet of cars downstairs with huge mob of people gathered at the gate. These people are one of the prestigeous peoples of the village and thus a huge crowd had gathered for help. Then we got that baby down and took her for CT scan.

Got the reports and headed back to hospital. Time was flying by. We didnt even have time to think about our return journey. All was in the mind bout what's the Doc gonna say bout reports. We also had got the xray done of her right hand. Reports of which were still pending but Docs were sure that there ought to b a fracture. When we got upstairs and showed the reports to the Doc, he said nothing much to worry about. There's no damage to the brain and no internal bleeding. So dont worry. We all were soooo relieved. The only bad news was bout the fractures hand but that was nothing in front of what could have happened.

Once everything was settled me and my friend headed back home while his bro stayed back. It was around 3.30pm. Lot of time was spent in the hospital. Now it was time to decide whether to leave for Mumbai the same day or leave on Monday morning.

Leaving on Monday morning would have been the best option because we already had that bad experience of night ride due to weak lights and tinted helmet. Also night ride means cold wind again. So chances of catching fever were unavoidable. But my friend had some very urgnet work back home in Mumbai. so he asked for the permission on leaving the same day. I had no choice. I agreed and thus we started our return journey at 4pm.

The only good part was that we could cover the bad patch of road till shirur in day light. Rest of the road was just fine for night ride. We decided to go via Pune this time instead of Chakan route.

To our surprise we reached Pune sooner than we expected. So now we had some time in hand. I made a call to my GF to see if she had time to meet us or not. She had some time. So then we headed towards Kothrud. While going we had famous Sujata Mastani on the way. Just before reaching Kothrud we had Cold coffee at Durga. Then we went to my Gf's home. Spent some time there and continued the journey.

Rest of the road is like appetite for us. So nothing much to write about. The journey was smooth and safe except that i had to guide my friend bout the up coming hazards and risky roads somewhere as it was his first night ride.

We then reached Mumbai at around 10.30 and reached home at sharp 11.00pm. No need to write bout my ass and back... As per my opinion R15's definitely not a bike to ride pillion for rides more than 100kms. Too bad. That narrow seat and rear set footpegs make it hell difficult to stay fresh for long.

Total kilometers Run were around 800kms.
Dont know bout the expenses as i didnt spend a single penny..

PS. The girl is now recovering fast and is better now.

I hope u like the write up..
Will post about any future ride in advance so that some of u can join us for the rides..

      Thanx for ur response.

what i meant was i was quite comfortable with those lights.. I cud even see the road thru that closed tinted visor..
also during return journey i rode for some half n hour on Mumbai Pune Road and i didnt have any problem with the illumination..
I agree they r lill lower than the stock yellow lights but they r good enough..

It was him who couldnt see properly with those lights and had problem.. His opinion..not mine..

Yeah..u can say i was sleeping..
