Excellent write-up and a great inspiration to me, since I too am an engineering studentI don't find too much time to do solos. Have done some short 100 km solos but I would love to do a "long" long solo ride once. The part I totally loved about your triplog is the 4 stages a biker goes through. Helmets off bro!

Well i'd say the biggest problem for students like us is cash because we have a tendency to run out of it in the middle of a trip. Just be aware of the amount of cash you're spending and how much you'll need to complete it. All the best for your long "long" trip

Awesome write up is the word. You described everything so beautifully that I was mesmerized reading and was in your world for half an hour.
Though they say a picture is worth thousand words, even thousand pictures cannot bring the feeling I got after reading this.
I never could understand these solo riders. The fun they get from riding solo, this makes me want to experience the same. Though I would like to do a solo trip these are the exact feelings that runs through my mind when I think about something like this.
Now I know everyone has the same feeling. The greatest achievement in your part is that you conquered the fears and the result is one hell of a ride that can be cherished for ever. Not everyone can do what you did and you made it
Congrats for your solo ride and I like your writing skills.
Do ride hard and safe, we want more stories like this in xBhp.

Pretty Awesome Log, Can Connect to you and your words very easily. I am too a Mech Engg Final yr student and hoping to do such trip very soon. Studying and living in the same city doesn't allow me to do it as of now :P. Just Waiting for the day when i'll have my Own money to do such "dream" trip. In all, Good work

A very very very well written trip log buddy.. Really entertaining..
Loved your views about the four stages of the biker during a long day of ride. Seems very practical.. (Esp - the worry part, where one feels fever, or thinks something is wrong abt the bike, etc etc)
I too will be making a long trip (of about 1500 kms) in 13days from now.. And like you I too am scared for all the Possible reasons. I love my bike and pray that Me And my bike return from this trip with a free mind, lots of memories, and scratch-less.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.
Only thing I can say - "The storm is coming"

@Nishant Saloki
Thanks. Yea studying and living in the same city does destroy quite a bit of freedom but i guess it's worth it for the very important reason: Homecooked Food!. Anyway you'll be free in less than a year to do all the trips you want to.
@Shibadip
Thanks a lot. I wish you all the best for your trip and hope that you have a great time on the trip and return home safe.
