  • Suggestions to Ride to Kerala

I am planning to ride to Wayanad & Kasargod this friday.

Please suggest me route information. I am pure vegetarian & want to know hotels information too so that i wont find any problems for food during the trip.

    I was thinking of riding

Bangalore (Fri Afternoon)-Kukke (Night Halt)- Kasargod-Wayanad.

    Or Bangalore-Wayanad-Kasargod-Mangalore-Bangalore.

Guys i am riding to kerala for the first time, please suggest me if there are any alternative route

PS : I also heard from few people that we need to carry original documents in Kerala if not i will find myself in problem. Is it true ?

Good luck finding hotels, there are very few pure veg hotels in Kerala.

And that original document thing is strange.. Haven't come across any problems in my trips to Kerala so far.

I suggest you do a loop as follows:
Bangalore-Mangalore-Kasargod (dont miss the Bekal fort & Thalangara Harbor)-Telecherry-Calicut-Wyanad-Gundalpet-Mysore-Bangalore

Be advised that presently the road stretch after Hassan to Mangalore is very bad.
