Day 2: 24^th December 2012 Bhuj-Kaladunger-Khavda(White Rann)or(Rann Of Kutch)-Bhuj.


As I am Bit Lazy in waking up in early mornings I woke up late at 7.00 AM and soon as I woke up I gotta see a stunning Sunrise took some pictures and without wasting much time got showered and geared up for the day.

Kala Dubger Highest point in kutch
since the spread of white Rann was huge and from the top of the Kala Dunger you can actually see the white Rann which seems a Sea but actually it’s a Safed Rann.. it was amazing to see the white rann from the Top. We took a walk to the other end of Kala dunger to see more of white Rann. WTF the Pulsar 220 was flooded with Luggage and a boosters, and found few guys like us who came to see white rann . 4 guys from Mumbai were on their ride we had a little discussion as they were getting late so they were leaving for their next destination and it was unknown so we went ahead after seeing them off, took some photographs of WhiteRann from the top of KalaDunger and took Bhagwanji ka ashirwad for the remaining Journey. And started to climeback the kalaDunger.
Now our Plan was to go to the Khavda touch the White Rann spend some time at WhiteRann and go back to Bhuj pack up and move to Mandvi Beach. Ofcourse this didn’t happen.

We reach the place where people have to take a permission and tickets for WhiteRann and sow these guys were waiting for lunch. So I Asked Tejasbhai Lets stop here and feedup our tummy and spend some time with these guys. So after getting the tickets and the permission, we took a Lunch Break at Dhaba. And it was a kindda Interstate Dhaba G2G for us, had a fun with these guys. Prelunch Session there were Truck stopped for lunch we asked the truckwala to get some pics and we all was climed up in truck for photos :P.

Took some Epic pics with truck. Till now our lunch was ready so took a lunch and again the kinda of lining up the bikes and take photographs was came in our mind..


As we all were getting late for our destinations we see off each other and proceeds to our next destination that is WhiteRann. After Reaching Khavda Village the Kutch Festival Was going on so there were lots of tourist at that place so we directly went to the Rann Of Kutch .. Awesome , there was a Safed Rajai on the land..



















as we planned to spend and our at whiteRann it turned into 2 hours so Tejasbhai asked me, lets move ahead as we were about to go to mandvi that day. But Before leaving I asked Tejasbhai to have a break and drink some water since I was getting bit dehydrated. So we stopped near the venue of Kutch Festival. Again the kidaa of getting Into the kutch festival started creeping on our mind, with wasting much time we went into the fair saw some beautiful handicraft, tent and the culture of Kutch in kutch Festival Venue.
We were behind our schedule time this time to we started our bikes and wanted to go to bhuj but within 1 km range I applied breaks took a U turn and stopped, Tejasbhai was amazed why I took a u turn and stopped. There was a ATV track and I wanted to Ride the ATV. not wasted much time got into the ATVs by paying them, Rate was on bit Higher side due to bla-bla Kutch Festival but still when I wanted to ride ATV that means I wanted to Ride ATV, there were no excuse for me. It was almost 5.30PM when we left khavda, still we were planning to go to Mandvi that day so we were hurrying to reach Bhuj, but while coming back to Bhuj the evening was so good that with no mercy to took a break at roadside.. and that was the most amazing evening I have ever seen in my life, it was worth to Skip Mandvi for next day, one of the best evening of lifetime..


















so we were capturing many pictures as many as we can capture.. till getting full dark we were capturing the evening with our eyes and with the camera.
Till we reach Bhuj It was 7.30Pm so we finally we skipped Mandvi for next day and called a Day Off.

Here i come with the day 3 and Last day of the Ride...


Day 3: 25^th December 2012
Bhuj-Mandvi-Anjar-Dhagandhra-Ahmedabad-Lunawada(520kms)


Again a Bit lazy start of the day 3, as usual reason was me.., we started from bhuj at around 8 in morning for Mandvi, reason to see the mandvi was the Beautiful blue water at mandvi beach..

just after leaving bhuj we encounter the roads where the expansion of Roads were going on so it was bit time consuming distance, finally we reached mandvi by 10.45 Am, initially we planned to see the Amar Mahal Palace and the beach at mandvi and leave Mandvi by 12, things worked according the plan but not with the time schedule.
Amar mahal Palace is the very good palace to see which is actually surrounded by lots of tree and a lush greenery around the palace, once you reach on the top floor of Amar mahal Palace you can easily able to see the blue Water sea, and the lush greenery around the Palace.




Tidbits About Kutch-

When to Visit- November to February months are the best to visit the Kutch, main attraction will be Rann Festival. Stay in the Tent city near White desert, place is called Khavda.

Places to Visit in Kutch- White Desert, KalaDunger, Indira Gate, Bhuj, Matajina Math, Nathatrana, Narayan Sarovar,Kot lakhpath,Mandvi.

have been to these places many many times (as bhuj is my native place) but never ever by bike and hey, did you guys try turning the ignition off on your bikes when on the narrow broken kala dungar road?
If not, try it the next time you go, the bike will automatically climb the incline at the speed of approx 15-20 kmph. Cool isnt it? did that on my cousin's scorpio and magic it actually does work, though turned the ignition on as the brakes wont work
